Below is a list of the bovine registries that maintain bloodline records for Texas Longhorn cattle as well as associations that support Longhorn ranchers. Different ranches have varying needs and objectives based on the objectives of their cattle program; therefore, it is important to know what options exist.
The Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America (TLBAA) is a nonprofit organization working to protect the integrity of the Texas Longhorn. They serve a support arm for the breed as well as a registry for Longhorn cattle.
The TLBAA website is TLBAA.org.
The International Texas Longhorn Association (ITLA) was established as a restart on a new registry and association. Their website can be found at ITLA.com.
